Okay, sad stuff out of the way first...This Rocket City based podcast is a bit sniffly today due to our hometown lad Paul McDonald being out of the competition sooner than we'd hoped.

But since this positive force of rockin' nature wouldn't want us to be sad, co-host Lee Marshall and I attack this American Idol Recap podcast episode with a burst of happiness, recalling our fave performances from Movie Week (including a couple of surprise disagreements), our thoughts on Paul's classy goodbye, and why all of the terrific Season 10 contestants won't have to worry if the major and indie record labels won't pursue them post-Idol.

PS-If you guys are reading on the afternoon of April 15th, Paul will be sitting in with The Tonight Show Band tonight (including former Idol Band leader Rickey Minor) on NBC at 11:35 EST and PST, and 10:35 CST...
