About The Culture of Pop
The DVD Marquee is an informative, sprightly, fun and fast-paced look at the latest home video offerings with the added bonus of insightful commentary from Jeffrey Rosado. Since it's debut in 2006 with original co-host Shane McDonald, the podcast has continued to grow in popularity and is soon expanding via exclusive interviews with industry insiders, actors, directors and filmmakers.
About The Host:
Jeffrey Rosado: A free lance writer, media professional, trivia hound and lifelong lover of films ever since his Mom took him to a mid-60's showing of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" during his toddler years: (Ed. Note: Giving clues away to his age…..)
It's been a dream of Rosado's to host/create a show such as The DVD Marquee, particularly for those stay at home cinephiles who prefer to not spend half a paycheck on concessions and candy, not to mention tickets. "At home, you're in control of things… kind of like that announcer guy used to say on the original "Outer Limits"…."we control the horizontal, we control the vertical," he laughs, adding that at home, the aspect ratio is always right (you do NOT wanna get me started on mismanged cineplex screens, audience members with cell phones, etc.)…
